Manager, E-Commerce Operations

    SUMMARY OF POSITION:

    This position represents a great opportunity to work in a dynamic, high growth business environment in which you will acquire the knowledge and experience related to all aspects of the e-Comm back-office functions. Some of the key tasks that you will be involved with include:

    DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Responsible for leading and managing the development of innovative digital and web consumer experiences.
    • Lead the development or optimization of digital applications or service, e-commerce operations or closely related field, 3PLs, ERPs, OMS, Fraud & CRM processes & systems. Coordinate implementation parties, agencies and vendors.
    • Work closely with internal team and processes (accounting, finance, warehouse, customer service) to build, refine and/or maintain centralized systems and data “connectors” by which the e-commerce business reports, measures and runs the business.
    • Analyze business and technology requirements to develop Proof-of-Concepts and Pilot projects using the Agile/Scrum methodology.
    • Considers security and data protection at all times when developing applications.
    • Work with developers for the setup and delivery of application development environments for continuous deployments.
    • Analyzes Current Programs and Processes for web platform – Analyzes the performance of current software, programs and applications. Runs diagnostics and identifies problems.
    • Continuous Education & Learning – Continuously self-educates in current, trending, and future programming and web development methodologies and technologies.
    • Works closely with Marketing, QA, UX, UI and other engineers to design the best solutions for our online consumers and to provide support on various issues and guidance throughout any given day.
    • Ensures that all digital developments are delivered on timely matter and on budget with web developers/engineers.
    • Documents key onboarding and operating processes.
    • Supports QA activities including functional/user acceptance testing.
    • Supports orchestration of brand content management activities as well as omnichannel promotional activities as needed.
    • Maintains close collaboration with supply chain operations and fulfillment organization for service level excellence.
    • Collaborates with Service organization to maintain favorable customer satisfaction and drive root cause/correction action efforts when needed.
    EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS:

    • Bachelor's or advanced degree in business or technology or related discipline plus 3 years relevant work experience in web operations management
    • Bachelor's degree is an asset
    • Experience in Digital/ e-commerce operations or closely related field, 3PLs, ERPs, OMS, Fraud & CRM processes & systems.
    • Strong organizational, time management, communication, process orientation and problem-solving skills with multiple clients/vendors/projects.
    • Ability to multi task, recommend and enforce industry best practices and patterns
    • Ability to create or utilize data visualization tools and dashboards
    • Strong proficiency with data modeling
    • Strong understanding and experience with Web Platform, preferably Magento and/or Shopify.
    • Understanding of Analytics and tag management tools such as Google Analytics & GTM.
    • Implementing testing platforms, functional, and performance/load tests.
    • Ability to use, track, and respond to all work assignments using JIRA/Bascamp based ticketing system.
    • Most importantly, must be well-organized and team oriented.

Junior, Online Merchandising Specialist

    SUMMARY OF POSITION:

    This position represents a great opportunity to work in a dynamic, high growth business environment in which you will acquire the knowledge and experience related to all aspects of the e-Comm back-office functions. Some of the key tasks that you will be involved with include:

    DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Manage and review merchandise presentation on site to ensure the categorization, imagery, copy, pricing and promotional tags are accurate and meet internal guidelines.
    • Utilize product catalog web application [Magento or Shopify] to build on-line category and product groupings as directed by eCommerce management team.
    • Liaise with the copy team for product names and descriptions.
    • Maintain quality assurance on-site; ensuring products and inventory levels are correct.
    • Analyze reports and provide recommendations for on-line merchandise and pricing strategies. Proactively produce actionable insights into on-site shopping behaviour.
    • Execute post-launch sequencing changes based upon customer behavior, selling information and inventory position.
    • Gatekeeper for all product related content: Online attributes, product names, product images (including management of translation process).
    • Provide merchandise-related support to the eCommerce Operations, warehouses, and photography teams.
    • Act as liaison to resolve customer or merchandise related issues for customer service team.
    • Review competitor websites to ensure industry alignment with categorization, promotions, and trends.
    • Build reports and conduct ongoing (weekly) analysis and reporting of performance KPIs, including sales performance, seasonal category performance, user behavior, site metrics.
    • Review & analyze category/product results weekly. Recommend and execute in-season management and long term strategies to increase sales and site conversion based on analysis.
    • Assist with special projects and general office administrative duties.
    • Coordinate keeping product information up-to-date across our website's content management system and the warehouse.
    • Work with merchandising team to plan and prioritize product additions and edits.
    • Attend and contribute to weekly departmental meetings with the merchandising and digital product team.
    • Assist in QA and UAT and development teams in defining test strategy, acceptance criteria, bug fixing and issue resolution.
    Requirements:

    • Experience with web platform [Magento, Shopify or other]
    • Interest in learning digital product and/or merchandising
    • Detail oriented and organized

    Qualifications:

    • 2-3 years of experience in a retail environment
    • Provide information and communicate effectively to present analytics, recommendations, and data interpretation
    • Make informed decisions related to data from on-line reporting tools, strategy creation, taking action to better business and minimize losses/increase online productivity.
    • Ability to manage workflow; create and meet deadlines.
    • Knowledge of competitors and relevant business models.


Junior, E-Commerce Analyst

    SUMMARY OF POSITION:

    This position represents a great opportunity to work in a dynamic, high growth business environment in which you will acquire the knowledge and experience related to all aspects of the e-Comm back-office functions. Some of the key tasks that you will be involved with include:

    DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Monitor overall E-Comm orders
    • Provide summary reports of e-Comm activity – number of orders, order types, order status, number of returns, and various KPIs
    • Resolve orders requiring additional manual intervention – work with various teams: Customer Service (CS), Warehouse and e-Comm operations
    • Process and track disputes and chargebacks
    • Manage and process fraudulent orders through our risk management tool
    • Review return invoice discrepancies weekly and work with CS Dept manager to resolve monthly (i.e. incorrect item/size/color, qty, no RMA in ERP to match ecommerce return)
    • Review Purchase Invoices weekly to ensure there are no discrepancies (ex. sales taxes) and coordinate with eCommerce dept (to correct site) and CS manager (to adjust invoice)
    • Maintain log of Cancelled orders due to no stock and review with Inventory manager and eCommerce manager on a regular basis the cause of the issue
    • Review PayPal for incomplete orders/payment discrepancies weekly and coordinate with eCommerce manager to determine the reason why & resolve (i.e. orders not exporting, short-ships)
    • Review Invoices against Orders shipped daily to ensure full payment was received when shipping. If there is an issue collecting payment and order was shipped, work with CS dept manager to recall package (back to shipped)
    • Review eCommerce shipping charge on statement are accurate. Work with Logistics on any overages or high charges that look irregular
    • Reconcile and balance all e-Comm accounts; provide applicable variance analysis
    • Prepare refund checks for special cases as required
    • Charge credit cards for special cases as required
    • Maintain complete filing system to support financial records
    • Participate in process improvement initiatives
    • Other related ad-hoc duties as required
    EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS:

    • 2-3 years of related experience
    • Bachelor's degree is an asset
    • Detail oriented
    • Bilingual (French and English; oral and written)
    • Solid proficiency in Microsoft Excel
    • Proficiency with Magento, Shopify (an asset)
    • ERP experience is considered an asset


Senior Fit and Spec Technician

    SUMMARY OF POSITION:

    The Senior Fit and Spec Technician works closely with design, buying and production teams. The prime responsibility will be to ensure all garments produced satisfy quality standards in terms of fit, construction, detailing and workmanship throughout out the entire technical development process following the first sample until production.

    DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Develop measurement charts and gradation grids
    • Inspect pre-production and production samples, for quality, fit, measurement accuracy and construction standards
    • Conduct fitting sessions and identify required adjustments and communicate them to the makers overseas
    • Create fit sketches or patterns to illustrate the modifications to be made
    • Follow up on specifications requirement and ensure approvals are obtained on time
    • Work closely with the Technical Developers, as well as the Design team
    • Daily follow up with makers and internal and overseas partners throughout the production process
    • Provide recommendations on garment construction, specifications and quality for current styles including new development
    • Create the grading for each style
    • Maintain internal records and specifications
    EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS:

    • Fashion Design Degree
    • Minimum 5 years of experience as a fit technician
    • Bilingual (oral and written)
    • Excellent knowledge of garment production, fit and grading
    • Experience with production overseas (import experience)
    • Proficiency in pattern making
    • Proficiency on Microsoft Office Tools (Adobe Illustrator-Photoshop, Excel, Word, Outlook…)
    • Strong organizational skills, detail-oriented and ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment


Technical Product Developer

    SUMMARY OF POSITION:

    The Technical product developer is responsible from the concept to the completion of the development of the commodity’s collections (outerwear and sportswear product).

    DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Create Tech Packs, provide specifications and update information along the development process
    • Maintain records of raw material information, production schedule, costings
    • Maintain accurate development boards on Illustrator
    • Follow-up prototypes, fit and salesman samples through our China Office, merchandisers and factories
    • Style creation: data entry of all components for wholesale and retail catalogs
    • Manage all samples
    • Seasonal trend research
    • New development proposals
    • Improve constructions and finishing
    EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS:

    • Degree in Fashion Design
    • 5 years of experience in a similar role
    • Bilingual (Ability to communicate in English and French, both written and spoken is essential)
    • Ability to make very detailed and accurate Tech Packs in Illustrator
    • In-depth knowledge of Illustrator, Photoshop, Excel
    • Working knowledge of the commodity constructions and finishing (a must)
    • Ability to manage from concept to completion
    • Passionate, highly adaptable and up to date with latest fashion trends
    • Excellent organizational skills, detail oriented
    • Strong communications and follow-up skills
